What is Online Reputation Managaement in SEO?

Online Reputation Management is that long standard company  to some extent they have a negative feedbacks from a competitor who are  jealous, not satisfied client, a who just someone who simply wants to rock the boat. Of course the  majority of website owners do not have a problem with their reputation. This is to ssaid as Reputation management.

In that if you receive a negative feedback of your website google can catch and push out backside of the page, Some times reject also.

To get rid of this there are some steps to be taken as follows:

Identify the Keyword Phrases:

Contact the Domain Owner

Check the website

Remove the negatives comments and give some positive comments.

Give some new article.

Create new blogs and give positive comments.

Take a look at the Google results immediately below the negative page to start with, and then work your way down. You will most likely have no direct influence on these pages, but what you can do is push them up indirectly through link building and promoting them through social media bookmarking. You may be able to help the relevance/ranking by adding a further comment if possible on the positive/neutral page with, say, a link to other positive reviews or your home page to increase relevancy. Mostly, however you need to look at pushing these pages through links.

Check the links of sub domains whether the links are proper linked no duplicate linkswith that.

These are some of the ways to remove negative comments from the compitators.

Optimize SEO for Ecommerce website

Optimize SEO for Ecommerce website

There are few steps to optimize any ecommerce website follows:

Keep your products close to home.

When it comes to SEO, your homepage is one of the most important assets you have. Your homepage is the first page a search engine will look at, and it is the homepage that is the main source of PageRank for google.
2. Write effective title tags.
The title tags on a page are a crucial part of your SEO. When crafting a title tag, create a tag that is a typical search term for your product  like:
For example, if you sell different types of snowmobiles, your title tags should reflect the different types of snowmobiles your business is for sale. You might have a title tag that says “used snowmobiles”, another that says “Yamaha snowmobiles”, and a third that “youth snowmobiles”.

3. Use Google AdWords keyword tool to help you find the right phrases.

To improve your title tags and overall e-commerce SEO, start with researching keyword phrases with the free Google AdWords keyword tool.
To find the best keywords for a given product page, first type in the search phrase you’re thinking of using for your product page. For this example, we’ll use the phrase “youth snowmobiles”.
What the keyword tool reveals is that this keyword phrase is very competitive, yet only generates approximately 400 searches per month. Therefore, “youth snowmobiles” might not be the best keyword phrase to use. Scrolling down the list, the keyword tool shows that “kids snowmobiles” has a similar amount of competition, but it generates almost 2,000 searches per month. This keyword phrase, then, is a little closer to the mark.
Further investigation shows that “mini snowmobile” has the same number of searches per month as “kids snowmobiles”, but – aha! — the competition is significantly lower. You’ve found an excellent keyword phrase.
4. Improve page file names.
Some ecommerce platforms automatically gave your page files strange, automated names, such as “www.yoursite.com/?ID=productnumber”. Change your settings to create links that include your keyword-rich title tag.

5. Tag your products.

For every product, add relevant tags that link back to similar products.

6. Offer free resources.

Both your customers and search engines will appreciate the extra resources you offer. In keeping with our snowmobile merchant example, one free resource you could offer are free articles on snowmobile safety.

7. Start a blog.

In the same vein as offering free articles about snowmobiles, you could also create a company blog in which you offer reviews, snowmobile maintenance tips, snowmobile vacation ideas, and everything else snowmobile related.
A blog offers you an opportunity to write custom content on your targeted keywords, thus increasing traffic to your site.

8. Submit press releases.

SEO for e-commerce websites isn’t that different from SEO for other websites, and that means backlinks are an important ingredient for your SEO success.
If you start a blog, write a press release about it and spread it around the different PR sites online. If you start to carry a new type of snowmobile, write a press release about that. If your snowmobiles have a special safety guarantee, write a press release. And if your company hits an important milestone – you guessed it – write a press release.

9. Write articles.

Likewise, article marketing is an easy, free way to get additional backlinks to your site. If you haven’t tried article marketing before, start with EzineArticles.com, the biggest player in the market.

10. Product reviews.

Product reviews, written by you or by your customers (which is even better), is yet another way to put content on your site that includes your keyword phrases. When customers submit reviews, it has more credibility with potential buyers, and you don’t have to do the work yourself.

11. Utilize Facebook.

Did you know Americans visit Facebook more than any other website – even more (on some days) than Google? Your Facebook fan page is another way to keep your products on the minds of your customers, while also providing one more way to improve your ecommerce SEO results.

12. Utilize Twitter.

After Facebook, Twitter is the second-biggest name in social media. You can set up a month’s worth of timely tweets in a matter of a half hour with a service such as Tweet-U-Later.

13. Utilize YouTube.

Here’s another interesting social media fact: after Google, YouTube is the world’s second largest search engine.
That’s right – more people run searches on YouTube each day than on Yahoo! or Bing.
Create short product videos for YouTube, then give the videos a title that includes your keyword phrases. From there, you can link your video to your product webpage.

14. Integrate social media efforts with e-newsletters.

Once you get set up with Facebook and Twitter, you can integrate your monthly email blast with your social media. Some email services, such as VerticalResponse.com, allow you to integrate the two with the click of a button, so that a tweet or a Facebook post automatically provides a link to your hosted newsletter.

15. Submit the good stuff to Digg, StumbleUpon, and Technocrati.

Your social media strategy should also include submitting your best posts and articles to sites such as those listed above. One popular Digg or Stumble can generate a ton of traffic.

16. For heaven’s sake, use CMS systems.

“CMS” stands for “content management system”, and if you have ecommerce websites, you absolutely should be using one. CMS systems make it easy to update products and add content to your site.
One CMS system that might surprise you is the blogging software, WordPress. WordPress was originally designed for blogs, but it is versatile and powerful enough to use as an ecommerce CMS. Joomla is another popular CMS, although it is harder to customize for SEO purposes. Magento is a CMS system designed specifically for ecommerce, and Magento Mobile is the world’s first ecommerce platform for mobile devices.

17. Create links within your product descriptions.

Going back to our discussion earlier regarding keywords, take a keyword in your product description and make it a link to a similar product. Google loves keyword-rich links.

18. Avoid generic links such as “See more here”.

Instead of generic link names, change it to a link that includes your keyword phrase, such as “See more mini snowmobiles here”.

19. Optimize every product image for search.

By adding a keyword-rich phrase in the “alternate text” field of an image, the images themselves can draw additional traffic to your ecommerce websites.

20. Use H1 and H2 tags.

Including your keywords in heading and subheading tags is a must on each page.

21. Create a dynamic “Top Sellers” list.

On your homepage, use a bit of coding to automatically update a “Top Sellers” list. This will regularly update your homepage, which search spiders appreciate.
On every page, description should be with keyword. Start wih social media like facebook, twitter etc.
Blogs should have article based on the products.
Google crawls based on the good content  with keywords where page will rank first.

Nowadays social media are important than the printing to get promoted in higher level and ranking to get the longe term business. Te latest trade is that google is providing free and paid advertise to engage with the customer. These are the things which I shared , which is important.

What is social media?

Social media are tools and technologies that enable you to communicate with your customers - in places where they are congregating. They includes:
  • blogs
  • wikis
  • video
  • photo sharing.
  • Commenting
  • facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linked In

It's about the buyers, not your product

The important thing to remember when you're thinking about marketing is that it's not just about your product, it's also about your services, and above all, the buyers of your products. When you focus on the buyers you can start to create compelling web content to reach them. The more content you have the more visible you will become in search engines.

How to engage customers with social media

On the web, customers, businesses and the media can immediately see what's on people's minds. Now is the time to be monitoring what they're saying about you and your products. Having a presence on blogs, forums and chat rooms with your customers shows that you care about the people who spend money on your products. You should participate regularly and not wait for a crisis to use social media. This includes participating in their forums as well as your own. This shows you care about them enough to communicate with them on their own turf as well as your own.

How do you respond to a crisis? In a crisis, respond quickly in the forum where the negative feedback has been posted - if it's on Twitter, respond on Twitter. If you need to look into their feedback and find an answer, ask them if you can contact them offline. This turns the negative experience into a positive one.

About Internet Advertising

Internet advertising – not just an interesting idea but a smart investment too
The mediums like newspapers, radio and TV were overused and abused. And hence there was a need for more and more unique channels to communicate an advertising message.
With the booming advertising sector, many new mediums of advertising came to existence. And Internet Advertising emerged as the most popular one. So much to the extent that it surpassed the 1 billion dollar revenue mark by the end of the 90s and witnessed a growth worth two times the revenue in just one year.
Over the past one and a half decade, display advertising has evolved from being just a flat visual to interactive and engaging formats that are put in front of the consumer.  The credit goes to internet advertising. And why won’t it be a better option? Advertising companies have realized the advantages of internet advertising. They are cost effective, cover a wide range of audiences and the time required to send someone a message anytime, anywhere is comparatively less. And so, the usage of internet advertising on a day to day basis increased drastically.
As the years went on, adagencies did a lot of experiments and most of them were successful like making use of the company’s website for promoting price, new products, etc. The advertising companies realised that the main purpose of advertising on the internet is to entice the site visitor to click to the target website. And that it doesn’t need to make a complete sale through the ad itself.
The ad agencies developed a set of rules for the online advertising that almost guaranteed them the desired results. Some of those rules are as below:
Ads on internet should be small. People, while surfing the internet, do not usually entertain reading long messages. Hence, the key is to create short ads. Otherwise, it may irritate them off your advertisement. Make sure that your ad has a clear and concise message about the product or services you offer.
Try and avoid large fonts, bright colored backgrounds and unnecessary pop-ups as they can be annoying and disturbing
They identified that the landing page should be not only engaging for the visitor but also reassure him that he has reached the right place. And then reiterate the benefits and offers.
But just having an attractive website does not yield profit. For increasing the sales and website hits, you have to spread your reach throughout the internet. Your consumers (internet users) should be well aware that you are running an online service or business. And therefore, for better results, you should also make use of flash banners, classified ads and viral ads.
